A Paediatric Functional Capacity Assessment looks at a child or adolescent’s functional ability across daily activities, taking into account their developmental stage, family context, and school environment.
This assessment helps build a clear picture of the support a child needs to participate fully at home, at school, and in the community, and is commonly used to support NDIS funding decisions for children and young people.
The goal is to give parents, schools, and the NDIS a clear, accurate picture of what a child needs to participate fully and work towards their full potential.
We work closely with families throughout the process, and where relevant, with schools, support coordinators, and other treating professionals, to ensure the report reflects the child’s needs accurately. Available by telehealth Australia wide or in person across the Perth metro area.
